Hi,

Last night we (finally!) made the switch from our snapshot-based builds to pulling repositories from git using the b2g manifests. This is effective for mozilla-central and any branches that merge in changes from m-c.

One restriction we have in place at the moment is that all repositories referenced in the manifests must be mirrored on git.mozilla.org. If you're adding a new project to the manifests, please check that it's mirrored here at https://git.mozilla.org/

We map from the upstream remotes to repositories on git.mozilla.org using the following mapping:
http://hg.mozilla.org/build/mozharness/file/466b3b086fab/configs/b2g/releng.py#l64

It's pretty easy to add a new repository to mirror, so just file a bug in RelEng and we can get it added.

Please let me know if you see any problems with the builds on mozilla-central & project branches.

One question I have is if we should migrate mozilla-b2g18/mozilla-b2g18_v1_0_1 to pull from the manifests directly, or leave them using the existing snapshots?

Cheers,
Chris
