For what it worth there is a hack built on top of extensions on Gaia
that let you have fun with it in FF desktop. Just run |rm -rf profile/
&& DEBUG=1 make| in the Gaia source directory and then |firefox -profile
profile -no-remote|.
It only works with a nightly build of Firefox but will let you use all
the developers tools there as well.
The right fix will be the 2 bugs mentioned by Gene but in the meantime
you can go ahead. There is also an underlying effort to merge some Gaia
code with the simulator in order to support it directly from there too.
