Greetings! Recently I've bought Peak phone for B2G hacking and app development. Also I'm interested in Gaia translation but it's not the point. The main problem is how to get vendor support from geekphone - for example, current modem Peak firmware doesn't work well with russian carriers (well, better say it doesn't support data transfer at all). modem firmware as the kernel it's vendor thing that must came from geekphone but there is no such things at Geekphone site (even links to support/download or direct contacts). It's reminds me chinese cheap phone makers - sell phones first, maybe support them in future (or not). So the question is how Mozilla as B2G inventor and promoter handle such situation with vendors? Right now it's blocker for project because phone remains closed at telephony part or even unsupported.
