The thing is that in FxOS there's no "internet access" permission. And I
think it would be important to have this (and this will fix the problem
i'm explaining in the above url).
My idea consists in having an special field in the manifest to specify
that the app will not require network connectivity. This will set the
offline mode user_pref for the given app.
I know that this is currently not possible, but I think it's an
important issue to address. Also it would be great if the permissions
panel in the settings show all the permissions every app uses and allows
to change (ask/yes/no) on all of them.
