Well, the current flow requires the user to enter her MSISDN, wait to receive 
an SMS, read the SMS and enter the challenge included within the SMS. If we can 
reduce the flow to just read and accept a permission dialog (it can even be a 
checkbox in the payment screen, but that's an UX call) and wait for the 
authentication to happen automatically, then IMHO it is worth our time :).
