This is very important for Firefox OS developers right now since we don't really know what size and shape the screens for the phones will be. I'm looking at this myself pretty heavily and think it is one of the more important issues we all face in the next 5 years. I'm assuming Ubuntu is also thinking about responsive design, but I haven't really looked at it. My plan now is to take some games and make sure they can play in any device screen size.
