Hello,
A question just came in my mind recently:
Should we start thinking about adopting one of the open source and famous
Arabic fonts to be used in Firefox OS ?
A very well example is the Droid Arabic Naksh (references 1 & 2)

Of course the beauty of apps no matter in what language they are, is very
important
This is a screenshot of an app I am currently working on with and without the
font I mentioned in this Email
https://bug893530.bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=775308

One other thing to mention: the first link (1) shows that this font fully
supports these languages:
Arabic (العربية)
    Farsi (فارسی)
    Urdu (اُردو)
    Pashto (پښتو)
    Sindhi (سنڌي)
    Uighur (ئۇيغۇر)

Finally, I've filed a bug in that context and containing all the details hoping
that this topic goes further than the main email
