Hi! I am the Romanian locale leader for Firefox OS and there are some annoying
situations: too short spaces and texts from localizations are
truncated/ellipses. I think interface was adapted only for en-US locale and
this is embarassing. And maybe the font is too big. I cannot shorten
everything, because there's technical words in Romanian with no other
translation and there's other locales (like German, Russian, Greek etc.) with
same problems.

Devs, please think about a fix. I want to provide the best localization and I
cannot do this due to this situation.

I have seen bug reports for this for other locales, so UX can determine what to
do on this. Think that's the way to go.
Hi,

Jeff on the l10n-drivers team has the action to come up with some pseudo-localization plans.

Here's what I'd envision happening:

- make profile (that'd also generate the pseudo l10n based on your code)
- select language "pseudo"
- see the UI with strings like "_3d ? ?_" instead of Edit, taking more space and looking different, but still readable.

That won't help all problems, but we're hopeful to catch a good deal of problems before you even submit a patch.
