>From an app-developers perspective, how does 1.1 change the landscape?

I mean, most of the production devices (ZTE Open, Alcatel OT Fire) AFAIK launch
with 1.0.1 preinstalled, 1.1 contains (hopefully) quite a load of bugfixes and
updates - so if one installs on his developer device the FOTA 1.1 firmware,
problems might arise from end users having a different version of Firefox OS
than the one devs tested their apps on.

How should one go about this? Postpone updating our dev device to 1.1? Is there
a timeline of consumer devices getting 1.1 update?
