Thank you for a thorough answer. Since Mozilla insisted on browser choice in Windows or iOS, it should now allow the same choice in Firefox OS. Maybe other engines like WebKit could be implemented as an asm.js module with near-native performance or as a NPAPI plugin, if it was possible?
