You can build and flash version 1.1 yourself following this guide:

codename for Alcatel One Touch fire is "hamachi". I'm not sure (could
anyone confirm?) but this may void your warranty as you will be using
unofficial firmware for you device.
The only alternative is to wait for Alcatel to release official update
(I believe there is no currently information on when it will happen),
which will probably be available as OTA (Over The Air) update so you
will be notified by your phone (providing it has Internet connectivity)
when it's avaiable.
