Hi all, I am dropping a mail to this after Stormy mentioned that a number of you would probably be interested, or had already expressed interest in, contributing to apps/Firefox OS documentation. I'm Chris, and for the last two months I have been in charge of documenting these areas. Progress has been slow, as there is so much to learn, but I am starting to get the main documentation at least structurally sound:

Answer specific questions I send to the list 2. Suggest things we are missing in the docs, or are wrong, or incorrectly placed 3. Send me links to stuff that is already written down somewhere else that I can migrate across to MDN 4. Give me rough notes that I can fashion into finished articles. I don't expect developers to give me perfect English for submissions - that's my job, not yours. 5. Give me code examples to use in my docs as examples Specific ideas: 1. Specific articles and demos to cover the following App topics: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Apps/Doc_Status 2. More information on building and installing B2G. We already cover a lot at https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Firefox_OS/Building_and_installing_Firefox_OS, but it could do with some more details, for example how would I build and install FirefoxOS 1.2? 3. More interesting customization ideas. I have a whole section dedicated to hacking FxOS (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Firefox_OS/Hacking_Firefox_OS), but not much content at the moment, and I am not sure what other content would be best to put here. 4. Specific information about the different developer phones available. At the moment, we only have Geeksphone info available (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Firefox_OS/Developer_phone_guide), but obviously there are many more options than that. 5. One of my major bugbears about Firefox OS apps is writing installation functionality. I've been writing quite a lot of sample apps, and the install functionality is something I can never seem to get to work. I am writing a template of sorts for open web apps, see here: http://people.mozilla.org/~cmills/app-template/. On my Keon device, it keeps saying "Download failed" when I click the install button, and on Aurora/Nightly it gives me the error message "MULTIPLE_APPS_PER_ORIGIN_FORBIDDEN". Can anyone help me with this? Or am I better asking on the webapps list, or similar?
