I was actually trying out Firefox OS development on a Windows XP (Service
Pack 3) machine and while i have successfully installed the Simulator, it
keeps on crashing the browser if i try to launch it on Web Developer >
Firefox OS Simulator.
I'm tempted to report it on Bugzilla, but i would like to know if there's a
possible solution on this issue as i don't want to duplicate yet another
bug (if there's one already). :)
Hi Aaron,
Which version of the Simulator are you using? We had a known crasher on
Windows XP in early preview builds of the next major release (5), but I
think we fixed that in the latest preview release (or possibly it'll be
fixed in the next one). And the stable release (4) shouldn't crash on
Windows XP.
