yeah, the app is certified...

but what really scares me (because of the dates) is your mention about the 
profile... reading this link "https://wiki.mozilla.org/B2G/Bluetooth";, where 
the profiles are categorised in 2 groups, basically IN and OUT, I assumed that 
SPP was IN because, first, it is the most basic and was not mentioned, and 
second, It is the basis for DUN, FAX, HSP and AVRCP..some of them included.

So... bottom line.., just sending bytes from one device to another without 
following any patter...is not supported? I sincerely thought that this was the 
most simple task bluetooth protocol could do...just being able to send/receive 
bytes over this, let's say, cable replacement protocol. I seem to remember that 
it was originally conceived as a wireless alternative to RS-232 data cables
