Well, I have had roaming disabled by my provider. However, the roaming cells won't reject my phone, but will still happily accept it. As described, I have will then have no service (since I have roaming disabled). So it would be nice to prevent the phone from logging in these cells (from which I know that it COULD log into but which would provide no service).
