Hi,

I tried to post it through google group page, but it didn't show up.

The story is I bought a ZTE Open (US) through ebay Hong Kong store.
It comes with OPEN_US_DEV_FFOS_V1.0.0B02.
I flashed it to OPEN_US_DEV_FFOS_V1.1.0B01, downloaded from
http://www.ztedevices.com/support/smart_phone/b5a2981a-1714-4ac7-89e1-630e93e220f8.html
I also applied some online updates.

Meanwhile I built my own Firefox OS 1.2.
But when I run ./flash, the phone reboots immediately as fastboot tries to
write the image.

After some tries, I realized fastboot is not fully functional.
Just like https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=928659

fastboot erase works fine.
But fastboot boot/flash/update doesn't work.

Now I can use "./flash gaia" and "./flash gecko" to get Firefox OS 1.2.
I can also do flash_image in adb shell.
But I failed to do "flash_image system" in ClockworkMod Recovery.
I got several "mtd: not writing bad block at" errors, and /system is corrupted.

I'm not sure if fastboot is enabled when it was shipped.
Some other people who bought it from ebay HK can use fastboot on their phones
with no problem, but they didn't flash official V1.1.0B01.

My questions are:

1) Did OPEN_US_DEV_FFOS_V1.1.0B01 disable fastboot?
I saw some people talked about it.
I also saw some people said OPEN_EU_DEV_FFOS_V1.1.0B01 didn't disable fastboot.
If it is confirmed, I think we should warn user on
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Developer_phone_guide/ZTE_OPEN

2) How can I get fastboot enabled?
May I flash OPEN_EU_DEV_FFOS_V1.1.0B01 on my ZTE Open US phone?
(Assuming removing some asserts can make it work in CWM)
Where can I download OPEN_US_DEV_FFOS_V1.0.0B02 zip file?
If I flash OPEN_US_DEV_FFOS_V1.0.0B02 in CWM, will fastboot be enabled?

BTW: I'm using fastboot on iMac with Mac OS X 10.9.1, I also tried fastboot on
Ubuntu 13.10 inside VMWare Fusion on the same iMac. Not sure if it matters.

Thanks!
