Hi, I've the same problem. fastboot is disabled in this firmware.
You can use ./flash gaia and ./flash gecko to get newer version of Firefox OS onto your phone. But you can't use fastboot. See my posts around Dec 29 in this group. I didn't see an official answer yet. I raised my question in ZTE support, the answer is to contact local service.
