[b2g] Alcatel One Touch Fire discontinued?

The news broke that Alcatel is officially discontinuing its One Touch Fire 
phone on Firefox OS 1.1 and there will be no version 1.2:

It's been just half a year since its introduction. Can Mozilla confirm that?
