[b2g] updating changes to gaia

I used to be able to do in /gaia "APP=appname make install-gaia" (say I changed 
some css file, say for system or homescreen) but that doesn't seem to do it 
anymore, my changes to the app are not applied on the device, is there an 
alternative? Am I doing something wrong?
