On https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Firefox_OS_build_prerequisites it says:
Samsung Galaxy S2
The only model that works is the i9100; no other variants are
officially compatible. (i9100P might work, since the only change is a
NFC chip added)
I have a Galaxy S phone with model number "GT-I9000".
Assuming that in the model number the "GT-" prefix has been dropped,
according to Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S I
have a Galaxy S not a Galaxy S2.
So I am confused. I am reluctant to risk bricking my phone but I would
like to install FirefoxOS on it.
What is the real situation?
