Hi CM, Adrian, Julien, all!

I want to thank CM, Adrian and others for their continued very useful feedback.

I’m in charge of Firefox OS documentation (and about a million other things) on
MDN, so, while I can’t do anything about the building process itself, I can do
something about the documentation. It is a lot easier to navigate than it used
to be, but I’d love your help to improve it further.

Now, https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS is the main landing page.
There is a lot of stuff to document here, so I used the “Introduction" article
as a way to help signpost people to the information they need, in addition to
the left hand navigation menu, of course.

The main build instructions are under “Build and install” - I’ve tested these
thoroughly and got them to work on a couple of different devices. However,
there are obviously some troubles in getting these to work across other
devices, so I think some changes need to be made.

1. I’m not a build systems expert, and don’t have the time to constantly
monitor changes in the build system, so I need someone to give me regular help
on this.
2. Different devices have different requirements and foibles, and it is hard to
find out what they all are without spending my entire life testing the build
process across all devices. Again, I need some help here. I have got some
lightweight coverage of different devices under “Developer phone guide”, but it
has been really hard to find out all the information.

Let me know what docs are still missing to be truly useful, and I’ll start
improving things.

CM, I am interested in your input at this stage of your work - what did you
find lacking in the docs?

Adrian, your work on writing build docs sounds really interesting, and I’d love
to find out more about this.

Best,
