Thanks for your input.  It may be an inconvenience to you, to which I apologize 
that it is inconvenient.  As stated before, you have the option of flashing the 
engineering gecko in which you will no longer be inconvenienced.

Having stated that, end users that value their private data will most likely 
lock their phones with pass codes.  There are people that do benefit from this 
feature ( bug 810092 ).
