To recognize the device, you can follow the setup in 
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Installing_on_a_mobile_device 
Use "lsusb" commend should be able to get the vendor ID. 

I don't have a Flatfish with me now, but it should be using 5V/2A for charging. 
You can check the information on the voltage transformer for it's working 
voltage.
