Hi everybody,
we've encountered an issue today where a phone would have at least one
core pegged at ~40% usage when the phone is idle and the screen is on.
If you encounter this behavior and want to help check for bug 1062119 [1].

An initial investigation shows the epoll_wait() call in the main process
event loop to be returning continuously even when nothing is happening
on the phone. I'm trying to bisect it but since it's been a long day I
might not make it so if somebody wants to pick it up he'll have my
eternal gratitude.

Cross-posting to dev-gaia because doing any performance / profiling work
on today's build is impossible.

 Gabriele
