This looks like some audio files in your SD card might break the metadata
parser,
and that's probably caused an infinite loop which drains the battery, Bug
1032638
has fixed these kind of issues for iso based files, like mp4, m4a and 3gp. But I
guess the files in your collection can still reproduce this problem with
different
audio formats.

If possible, would you please share your SD card files or attach some log on
Bug 1076340?

Thanks,
-Dominic

Subject: [b2g] Gaia Music App causing Battery drain

Hi folks,

Just wanted to ask if anyone else has noticed a major battery drain when
listening to music using the Music Application on 2.0?

I have a lot of music on a microSD card in my Flame device (running 20141001)
2.0 and after fully charging the device I found myself down to 60% within a
single hour of listening to music. The music files were all local and no other
application was running in the background.

Side note, the Music app could not scan/add music from the SD card in one bulk
move. It kept freezing at random tracks/intervals. I reported this bug here
