The problem is not whether it likes the SIM card or not but rather whether the phone supports the frequencies used by the carrier you are on. Peak supports this: UMTS 850/1900/2100 (3G HSPA). GSM 850/900/1800/1900 (2G EDGE). Which is combo of EU and America that should work on major carriers.
