That's what I did and got the above log. It was like this:

$ fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
< waiting for device >

and when I try to re connect the cable, I get this:

ERROR: Unable to create a plug-in (e00002be) 

I even tried with installing .zip from SD card and got the log what I posted in 
my first post.
