We have a new Firefox OS 2.0 base image for the Flame available at MDN.
Whether you're building apps and want to write and test against the
latest APIs, or you're developing or testing core changes to Firefox OS
2.0 and newer, you should download and flash this new v188 base image
and file bugs (use prefix [FLAME]) with a vengeance!
This image should fix the recent problems with Gecko/Gaia updates not
having enough space to install.
If we don't find any show-stopper issues, this image will be deployed as
the first major FOTA ("firmware over the air") update for Flame phones
on the release channel.
Again, please report bugs you find in this image as soon as possible.

Hi Asa,
Great news, just flashed. Crossing my fingers that the OTA updates are
fixed :)
Here's my early feedback:
For the release channel, do we plan to send Mozilla 2.0 gecko/gaia (from
the ftp) on top of the v188 with the FOTA update?
If not, users will have a poor UI experience and a lot of use cases
won't be covered by their builds (bad value for GAIA_DEV_PIXELS_PER_PX,
no locales, no keyboards, etc.)
Also, there is no flash.sh script in v188 archive, only flash.bat.
(reusing the flash.sh from v180 worked perfectly for me, but it needs to
be added)
Cheers,
Theo
