I'm a big fan of what Mozilla stands for!
Open Source, and no closed source code.
its closed source for a reason!
I'm a strong believer of google spying,
since they've already agreed to allow the US Gov to have complete access to
their CLOUD infrastructure:

So I want to help out to build B2G, and make it an awesome OS!
its the RIGHT direction!
Now this being said, WHAT IF. google gave away android, and all their "closed
source code". so that its 100% open source.
There are so many things that B2G could gain from this experience, right?

such as all of the "packages" in google play, different ways to make these
packages, other than html5 and css, etc.

what I'd like to KNOW, is if it would be a HUGE PROCESS to merge in the
"android code" into the existing B2G?

I'm looking at the B2G Architecture

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Platform/Architecture

and comparing it to androids, the linux is the same, they both get compiled via
ASOP, right? I'm sure there's some minor code differences.

the open source libraries from Gonk and android seem to be the same...

I'm just throwing it out there.. comments?
