Hi!
Someone that got a Flame at MozFest contacted me regarding various
issues they're having making their app work on the phone. They say that
"it works fine on the simulator" and Desktop, but on the Flame location
doesn't seem to be working:
" Location - I’m not sure what’s going on there. . .I suspect it has
something to do with either not having a SIM card, or perhaps the
Firefox OS doesn’t employ GPS assisted with Wifi/Cell."
They basically cannot get a location at all.
I think I remember having read somewhere about Firefox OS phones
reaching to some wifi to location service, I wonder if this is again
misconfigured in the builds we flash?
