I saw this came up last year, but have not seen a resolution. I have been
able to config.sh emulator-jb, and build.sh. However, run-emulator.sh
yields a non-functional emulator. It takes a few minutes before the screen
draws, what draws is an upside-down Mozilla image, and none of the emulator
buttons do anything. After a couple more minutes an upside-down language
selection screen appears. Swiping the screen (with the mouse) results in a
black screen with vertical red stripes -- it looks like the emulator just
locks up and becomes unresponsive. I am not seeing any kind of error
messages in stdout or stderr.

I have been digging all over the configure/build wiki pages, the archive
mailing lists, Slashdot, etc., but haven't found anything that directly
addresses what I am seeing.

Here was a similar, but unresolved, issue:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/mozilla.dev.b2g/upside$20down/mozilla.dev.b2g/K_tulYO9fUI/GWRAvwrDBjMJ
However, in addition to an upside-down screen, my emulator is also
unresponsive and locks up with the vertical red stripes. (BTW, I do not
have a retina screen.)

Are there any Mac OS X devs who could give insight into what is happening
and how to fix it?

Best Regards,
Thomas Phillips
