Looking at the Matchstick developer guide[1], it seems there are expecting
a very specialized type of app, so we should probably think about it
separately from Panasonic / TV vendors, since I would expect them to be
different environments, even if they both appear on a TV screen in the end.

Jan and Alex from DevTools are actively working to make the Simulator more
customizable as far as screen size, Gaia profiles, etc. but this work will
take some time. This would help simulator match what's used on the
Panasonic devices, etc. Some of this can be done today, but it's a lot of
manual building, CLI flags, and such.

Looking at the Matchstick build instructions[2], a Gaia profile could
likely be produced that the Simulator could run, but again that's a bit of
manual work for now.
