Hi everybody, and sorry if this matter has been discussed already, but I
couldn't find anything.

I own a ZTE Open received at the last summit in 2013, and it comes with the
firmware OPEN_LATAM_FFOS_V1.1.0B01. I would like to update the FFOS version on
it and I don't have problems compiling my own build. The problem is that this
firmware is the one with fastboot disabled (it doesn't even show up in adb
devices...) and I've read in multiple places that I have to first update the
firmware with a ZTE original one with fastboot enabled in order to put an
up-to-date build.

My problem is that I've tried to download from the ZTE website several versions
of the firmware for this phone (the EU and US dev firmwares, and the one for
phones sold in Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Peru), but all of them don't have
the correct signature so the OS won't update. Is there a way to enable fastboot
in this LATAM version of the phone?

Thanks,
Iacopo
