In current implementation, when the default network interface connected/disconnected, part of proxy settings are changed with respect to the interface, and unsupported settings(i.e. socks and ftp) are unchanged. For developer, it would be good to have a mode to freely control all these proxy prefs, regardless of interface connect/disconnect. I've filed a bug and we can have more discussion there. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1154198 > > > How complicated would be implement this feature in gaia?(setting app) i > suppose. > There are two related gaia bugs, and each of them depends on some other bugs. If we ignore those dependent bugs, the gaia implementation should be mainly UI work. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=909498 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=983265 Best Regards, Shian-Yow
