Hi everyone, Just like to share with you about why we do not favor any string change after string freeze.
Before v2.2, string freeze used to be at FL and we changed it to FC for 2.2 because too many bugs/patches were breaking string freeze around FL. This damaged our relationship/credibility with localizers in the past, and lost some along the way. Moreover, l10n testing is 2 weeks after string freeze which any new string introduced there could cause high impact to both QA and localizers. Unless the bug/issue is super major blocker for Code Complete, we will strictly follow the rule for any string change after FC.
