It's similar to android device, make sure that the adb is turned on in the developer tools of the settings. (you will have to turn in dev tools via settings -> device info -> more information ): adb logcat
From there while you have adb logcat running try doing an update via the settings -> device settings -> check for update. You're looking for a line that states something with : https://aus4.mozilla.org/update/3/B2G/...
