Hi Doug,

Just to warn you that the Systems Front End team are in the process of
implementing Pinning the Web [1] and expect pieces to start landing this
week.

We are making every effort to implement it incrementally in a way that
makes sense, never break smoketests and ensure that we have no half
implemented groups of features at the end of each sprint. But there are
some quite large changes coming and I can not guarantee this will be
regression free.

I would also not expect work on the new Gaia architecture to just stop for
three weeks.

If you need a completely stable base for the Spark release then I recommend
you branch (like every other release we've ever done). It sounds like QA
have a sensible plan to protect dogfooders from short term regressions
going forward with a tested build every week or so.

Regards

Ben
