I have added my own CA to my phone by changing the files /data/b2g/mozilla/cert9.db and /data/b2g/mozilla/cert9.dbkey4.db using ‘certutil’. You can find more information how to do this on <http://www.pending.io/add-cacert-root-certificate-to-firefox-os/> and <http://mkonrad.net/2014/05/19/installing-self-signed-certificates-on-firefox-os.html>. Note that the option “-t "C,C,TC"” is probably an overkill for you. I used the more strict option “-t "C,p,p"”. Hope this helps.
