Hi all,
I'd like to share you the current status of emulator-x86-kk and point
out the further assistance needed.
Thanks to Thomas Z., Edgar Chen and John Dai's leading effort, the
porting of emulator-x86-kk has been finished for a while. However, to
leverage automation tests from emu-ics to emu-x86-kk on TaskCluster,
there's still a huge gap and requires more resources and expertise.
== Current status: run emulator-x86-kk on Treeherder/TackCluster ==
* The build is on Treeherder Production already.
* Mochitest and Reftest are enabled on Treeherder Staging but test
results are orange.
* I tried to run other tests on Treeherder; I got orange results, too.
* Try result on Aug. 7th:

== Follow-up Tasks ==
* To fix emu-x86-kk test failures on TC, we might start from the
following major items.
o Stabilize TaskCluster. By monitoring Treeherder [1], it looks
that emu-ics tests on TC are not stable enough, while results of
the same tests are much greener on old mechanism. Wondering if
the failures result from instability of TaskCluster. If so, we
should fix the instability first.
+ The help from TaskCluster team is required.
o Quickly glancing over logs of failed test cases [2], there seem
problems with launching tests successfully on TC. The bugs are
tracked in [2].
+ The help from TaskCluster team is required.
+ Once tests can be launched successfully, it then requires
each team/module's effort to fix specific test failures.
* Below are some nice TC features to help development
o *Bug 1159091*
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1159091> -gecko:
Show emulator-x86-kk as it's own platform
o *Bug 1192118*
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1192118> -To be
able to enable tests per module on TackCluster
