The symbol is a private (hidden) symbol by design. I don't know exactly
why your attempts with VISIBILITY_FLAGS didn't work, but this is really
not something that is likely to work.
I recommend that if you need to do something like this for a custom app,
you compile that code into your own custom version of libxul.
