Hi Hans, there was on TEX SE a question [1] with a problem for s-mag-01.tex.
The problem is the \setupoutput command in the file which doesn’t exist anymore in MkIV because there is only PDF as output format. Can you fix this by adding a dummy \setupoutput command or splitting s-mag-01.tex in MkII/MkIV files?
