I'm going to look into this XULRunner thing, I guess. >From what I've seen and heard so far it relies on some XML-based language (XUL?). This example of opening a link contains some javascript code, so it can't be that bad:) Then again; "compiled component" smells C++ and XPCOM. But it all sounds nice compared to these... strange constructs I create now:)
Now, this email thing. I suppose this example of yours is based on the default link behavior, i.e link (<a>) with href set to "mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]", when clicked, opens the default email client and creates the message. But what I'm going to accomplish is to send the current page (or frame) as an attachment. As far as I know you can't do it this way. But IE and Firefoks do, so I suppose there is a suitable system function or something like that.
