JRex seems fine but it's pretty old and dated.  From what I understand
the reason why it wasn't taken any farther is that JavaXPCOM/Gecko was
going to be the way to do it.

Unfortunately I don't have the liberty of contracting out the work,
I'm supposed to do it my self.  I don't really need a FOSS version
just maybe a pointer to anything that helps me along.  I've searched
for information, but I can't find anything.

As for JavaXPCOM, is it really 'embedded' or are we just talking about
communication between java and xpcom?
