What i want to do... I want to draw my own focus border because mozilla engine sometimes paint dotted outline under elements.
I'am trying to "hack" viewManager to do this, but there is no effect. Currently i can draw my border when pref "browser.display.focus_ring_width" is set to 0. otherwise mozilla is painting on my border. Sometimes it repaints whole my focus border region, sometimes only part of it. Currently i have no problem with detecting what element has focus and where it is - i know its coordinates. So... How to detect if mozilla finished all painting operations and then paint something somewhere? Maybe there is some event i can register on it? help...
