Hi All,
I mentioned this in the meeting a few weeks ago, and I'd like to push
ahead with making it official: let's drop the weekly Thursday 4pm
meeting, and consolidate updates into the Monday 2pm meeting.
I encourage everyone to continue putting together end-of-week updates
and train status reports where is makes sense, but asynchronously -
either here on the list, or in ad-hoc meetings as necessary.
So that's the good news: y'all can have half an hour of your lives back
every week!
But of course, there's a catch...
In exchange, I want to introduce a new policy for the Monday meeting:
Everybody Talks.
Rather than just throwing some updates in the pad, let's take the time
to go around and hear from everyone on the team what they've been up to,
what they're planning next, or just generally how they're feeling about
the state of the FxA world.
My hope is that this will give us all a bit more of a tangible sense of
what's going on across the project.
To help ensure the Monday meeting stays at half-an-hour-or-less, please
take a few moments each week to put your updates and agenda items in the
pad ahead of time.
