Hi All,

I wanted to follow up async on some points raised in the last
retrospective. If these were your points, or if you care about them,
please elaborate and let's see if we can drive some discussion.

I don't see anything confidential in there so I'm putting it all on the
public list. I've also filed some items directly into bugs where it
seemed to make sense.

So, the following came up under "what puzzles us?" on Monday:

* How can we have input on the first run (almost done) page? As we add
foreground features to sync, we need a way to tell users about them.

A great question, and one into which I don't have much insight off the
top of my head.

* Can our "account verified" page show a magic button like on this
  page: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/48.0.1/firstrun/learnmore/

It's possible, but IIUC it requires shipping browser code to enable it,
as part of the "uitour" desktop component. It's certainly within our
power to ship something like that.

* Is "open in webmail" button on every page that we tell users to
  verify their email?

My understanding is that it should be, so if you find one where it isn't
let's get a bug on file to make it so. We know that this button is
surprisingly effective at increasing verification.

* Should we pitch doing "firefox.com" that lets users decrypt their
  Firefox data?

I don't know what this is but it sounds intriguing, I'd be happy to hear
a pitch for it :-)

  Cheers,

    Ryan
