Hey all, Today we had our product meeting, here is a quick summary of the discussion
*Things we are measuring:* * First Run Value Pro CTA results show that our control performed better than our production environment. Our hypothesis is that our en-US locale has a higher engagement and than other locales. For more details and next steps check here [1]. * Email Confirmation Flow (Phase 1) will be shipping at 50% in Train 79. Plan is to continue to monitor device sign-in metrics and hopefully set to 100%. * IP Profiling has been set to 72hr window in Train 79. * IP Blocklist is now measuring hits from multiple lists. Dashboard [2]. *Things we are shipping* * FxA Login Flow on iOS - Train 79 has several improvements in the sign-in experience. Also, FxiOS 6.1 has been approved and will be released to App Store. This version has updated fixes to allow for a better sign-in experience. * Verification reminders will be enabled in Train 80. This version contains better handling of database connections and pollings. *Things we are building* ** *Email deliverablity feature document is almost ready for merging to github. Ops team will be investigating Senderscore [3] to see if it has some value on our deliverablity score. * SMS mobile download after email confirmation has been tested locally and will be ready for Monday Demo day! User's will be able to send themselves an SMS to install Firefox on mobile after they have verified their account. * Mailcheck is on track and expected to ship in Train 82. Mailcheck will display a tooltip on the signup form to let a user know the email domain they typed is not good. * Adding a backup/recovery email. The team ironed out some technical and user experience details about what it means to have this feature. At a high level, phase one would include adding a recovery email for verified sessions only.
