Hola Carlos, I do not belong to the mozilla crew but have been fighting to set this up for a while. Thanks to their help, it has turned out pretty good and seems to be working relatively stable right now. Thanks again for that!

Somebody please correct me if I am wrong. I have managed to put it behind an apache reverse proxy (at some point, also with an nginx), use SSL and save the (account-related) stuff to a mysql database on a stable debian system (although I did have to horribly patch the fxa-auth-db-mysql in order for it to work with mysql 5.5). If you have problems running the fxa-local-dev server, I'd definitely also try the fxa irc channel. There are a lot of really helpful folks there. Again, thank you very much for the help! > So here: Is there any current document that can be used to understand > the whole system enough to be able to deploy the supporting > infrastructure to get fx-synch working w/o relaying in Mozilla central > services ? Regarding a document that explains the architecture, I am pretty sure I have read about it at some point, but I can't manage to find it right now. It also might just be my imagination playing tricks on me ;) > If not, tips to do it ? > If not, would it be ok to ask here may be dumb questions to get this > operational ? :) > > TIA, > -Carlos > Saludos, Juanito -- m-privacy GmbH Werner-Voß-Damm 62 12101 Berlin Fon: +49 30 24342334 Fax: +49 30 99296856 (NEU!) http://www.m-privacy.de GnuPG-Key-ID: 0x2DD3A649 Amtsgericht Charlottenburg, HRB 84946 Geschäftsführer: Dipl.-Kfm.
