Hello turkey trotters, The turkey trot <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkey_trot> is a fun run that is a Thanksgiving (both American and Canadian) tradition. Instead, the mobile tech leads went for a quick lap on Wednesday, Nov 21 (NA/EU timezones). You can see the race route covered <https://docs.google.com/document/d/13ZqcDtmedjAykVveOlZSFYP5tWi2i6G5dCzUuHEBY0U/edit#heading=h.8pyifxj4ipzr> .
The meat of the conversation was about how to surface native code crashes in the Application Services Rust components in consumers like the Reference Browser. There's a broad desire to avoid the GeckoView-in-Focus experience, where on day one crashes in GeckoView were opaque and it took time to build out the crash reporting infrastructure. Luckily Firefox Reality has prior art for uploading symbols to Socorro for Application Services to follow <https://github.com/mozilla/application-services/issues/418>. Until next week, keep dreaming of gravy. Nick
