Hello folks, The Android Tech Leads met on Wednesday, March 6. Noteworth topics:
1. Web Extensions are coming to GeckoView-consuming Apps \o/ This will make content-mangling like Reader Mode possible. Please request a bikeshed colour at Bug 1518843 <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1518843>. 2. Unification: the android-automation-tools <https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/android-automation-tools> is live and starting to get rolled into consumers. This Gradle plugin will make it easier to conform to best (Mozilla) practices in the Android ecosystem. In particular, the plugin should make working on a local version of GeckoView consistent across consuming projects: see Bug 1533465 <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1533465>.
